
On August 24, 2026, a ten-member delegation comprising officials from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla), and the Bangladesh Gas Transmission Company Limited visited Xionggu Company for a site inspection and exchange. Mr. Mou Kun, Deputy General Manager of Xionggu Company, hosted the visiting delegation throughout the tour with full hospitality.
The visit was aimed at gaining an in-depth understanding of Xionggu’s technological strengths in intelligent welding solutions and its smart manufacturing capabilities, thereby laying a solid foundation for further cooperation between both parties in the development of Bangladesh’s energy infrastructure.
The delegation’s first stop was the Xionggu Intelligent Industrial Park. At the SMT production line, the guests received a detailed briefing on the high-precision surface-mount technology production processes and the quality control system in place. Subsequently, the delegation toured the environmental testing equipment area, assembly lines, and warehouse facilities, expressing high recognition for Xionggu’s rigorous approach to product environmental adaptability testing, lean production management, and supply chain assurance.
Following the industrial park visit, the delegation proceeded to Xionggu’s headquarters, where they toured the welding process laboratory, the A-1000i laboratory, the mechanical testing laboratory, and the radiographic inspection room. At the welding process laboratory, the delegation observed live welding demonstrations and spoke highly of the superior arc-tracking performance and weld quality delivered by Xionggu equipment. Throughout the visit, the delegates showed keen interest in the technical details and production workflows, frequently pausing to pose questions. Both sides expressed strong anticipation for more in-depth exchanges in the near future.
Through this on-site engagement, the Bangladeshi delegation expressed great admiration for the robust capabilities that Xionggu Company has built over more than three decades of dedicated R&D in pipeline intelligent welding technology. As a national-level “Specialized and Sophisticated Little Giant” enterprise, Xionggu holds core technologies including precise arc droplet control, automatic seam tracking, and intelligent welding parameter programming. The company’s products have been widely deployed in pipeline construction projects across Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, and other countries, serving as the primary welding equipment for major international projects such as Thailand’s Gas Pipeline No. 5, the UAE’s East-West Crude Oil Pipeline, and Saudi Arabia’s MGS Phase-III pipeline.
The delegation members noted that Xionggu’s advanced intelligent welding equipment and comprehensive technical service system are well aligned with the actual needs of Bangladesh’s energy pipeline development. This visit has given them a thorough and multifaceted understanding of Xionggu’s R&D prowess, manufacturing capabilities, and product quality, and they look forward to launching collaboration on specific projects at the earliest opportunity.
