Xionggu Welder is involved in the construction of Thailand's Line 5 natural gas pipeline, and the National Petroleum Company of Thailand (PTT) plans to build a new onshore natural gas pipeline in Thailand's central and eastern regions, designed to deliver natural gas to power plants and other customers along the line.

The first phase of Thailand Line 5 project is the first time in the world to use a large pipe diameter (1066X20.62mm) high sulfuric acid pipeline. The welding process is more difficult, and this project is also the first time in Thailand to use a fully automatic welding machine (internal welding machine + double gun) to achieve natural gas pipeline welding operations. At present, there are more than 60 sets of MPS-500 welding machines, 20 sets of DPS-500P, one A-806/40 internal welding machine and 10 A-610 double-gun external welding heads.
