The Xiong Gu Company 2026 20th Cultural and Sports Games kicked off to the stirring strains of the national anthem! At 9:30 a.m. on September 30, colleagues from across the company gathered together for a cultural and sports event that combined knowledge contests, intellectual challenges, and team collaboration—celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and forging ahead with renewed strength.
Chairman Mr. Xiong Jian delivered the opening address. He once again explained the company's mission, vision, and values, and shared the success equation, emphasizing from both short-term and long-term perspectives the importance of correct thinking.
To warm applause, our six competing teams made their grand entrance, and the fun competitive events officially began. This year's event adopted a format of individual event prizes plus overall points-based grand prizes. In addition to the individual event awards, the total points across all events carried a major prize, making the competition exceptionally fierce.
The first event was the Knowledge Challenge. The competition was divided into two rounds—mandatory questions and buzzer questions—and the atmosphere was both lively and tense. Next came the Thinking Challenge, a test of structural thinking combined with teamwork. With only 12 sheets of A4 paper and no other materials, each team had to build a suspended paper bridge spanning two fixed supports by folding, rolling, and bending the paper. With 12 minutes to build, everyone had clear roles: some rolled the piers, some folded the bridge deck, and some handled overall structural adjustments.
The "Fun Relay · Collaboration Challenge," which integrated environmental protection concepts, safety culture, and teamwork, consisted of three linked stages, each connected to the next.
After the morning's three events, the teams rested over lunch, and the afternoon fun sports events began energetically at 2 p.m. The three activities centered on the theme of "win-win collaboration," allowing employees to release their passion through laughter and sweat.
After a full day of intense competition, all results were announced and the awards ceremony began. Participation is an honor, and effort is its own reward. Regardless of ranking, every colleague who gave their all deserves applause.
Today, in the name of youth and with the power of teamwork, we pay tribute to our motherland and empower Xiong Gu. In the future, with sincerity and practical action, we will excel in our positions, persevere with determination, and grow together with our country and advance together with our company! With that, the "Celebrating National Day · Building Dreams for the Enterprise" Cultural and Sports Games came to a successful close.
