2. Xionggu Welding Solution

Tailored to the stringent requirements of D1016mm X70M steel pipes and the 8 MPa high-pressure operating condition, Xionggu adopts a combined process of TIG root welding + automatic welding for fill and cap passes, perfectly suited for all-position welding in field environments.

2.1 Core Equipment Configuration

Xionggu TIG Welder: Used for root welding to ensure 100% penetration of weld roots with no porosity or slag inclusions, ideal for welding high-grade X70M steel.

Xionggu A-305 All-Position Automatic Welder: Single-torch design completes hot pass, fill passes and cap pass in one continuous process. It operates reliably under extreme temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 55℃.

TIG root welding: Achieves single-sided welding with double-sided formation, delivering uniform root penetration and eliminating incomplete penetration defects.

A-305 Automatic Welder: Equipped with a built-in professional welding database and automatic seam tracking system, enabling precise adjustment of current, voltage and travel speed.

Weld performance: Tensile strength and impact toughness fully comply with X70M steel standards, meeting the demands of 8 MPa high-pressure service.

Root welding speed: 9–11 cm per minute for automatic root welding.

Lightweight design: The A-305 welding carriage weighs merely 15.8 kg, allowing flexible operation in confined spaces.

Intelligent control: Preloaded welding parameter databases simplify operation via remote control. It reduces labor intensity, minimizes manual intervention and ensures consistent welding quality, while lowering exposure risks from arc radiation and welding fumes.

Superior environmental resistance: With an IP54 protection rating, the equipment withstands temperatures from -44℃ to 55℃, adapting to the complex terrain and harsh climate of the Northern Shaanxi Plateau.
